It would be nice to have an optional distance limit on what the module displays. If you have large distances between groups of entries it would be useful to limit this because it isn't always relevant to show entries far away. Maybe an entry in the back-end parameters where you can enter a distance to stop at would be good?

The module has 'Maximum distance' function.
Is that not working?

Hello Mano,
Firsat of all, I think this is one of the best sobi2 extensions ever, the problem is, how do I get this to work on the detailed view? How do I code this? Please advise, I am excited to use this module

What is the problem exactly? Are there any error messages?
What does it mean: "work on the detaild view" ?
Would you like to use inside the Sobi2 details template ? or
Does the module work only with fix positons?
What is your sobi2 version?
Could you send me a link?

Hello Mano, there is no error messages, it works fine, I guess the question I like to ask is, can I use 2 or more of the nearby places module and how do I do this? Can you show me how?

The sobi2 nearby enties module calculates the nearest places from the current sobi entry. If you would like to use the module more time (eg with fix position), you need to make a copy form the module in the Joomla module manager.
