Hi great module

My question: Are there many lines of code to change the Sobi2 search of Metakey tags to search of a field like county?

I want to show listings in the same county...

If not too difficult could you indicate the code to replace...

The changing of the fied from metakey to field_country is not too easy, because thhey stored different tables.

I am currently working on a new module which shows the entries nearby the current entry.

I think this is a better solution, but I dont know your expectations.
What do you think about it? Can you use it for your project?

In Ireland we don't use postcodes so I have not used any geo type extensions, so I dont know how it would work for me... but probably great for others..

Its unfortunate that the metakeys is not located in the custom fields database as it would be simple to use my select menu as a common denominator...

I think its a case of adding Field_county info to the meta keys manually....

Yes, you should use metakeys with field_country manually, but I think when I finish my current work I will implement this feature in the Sobi2 Related Entries Module. (I dont know when, but I will do it.)

Do you have an idea of when you will have it working with longitude, latitude. Will you be able to set a distance. I was actually looking at the possibility of using the zipcode, but lat/long would work great too.
If you are interested in creating a custom module please contact me. What I am looking for is something that would search a specified distance from the entry and display the results from a specific category.

I can't tell you a date, but I am working on it.
I will shows the nearest entries from the current entry in an ascending order by using the lat/long fields. (from the current categories or from all categories.)
