Would it be possible to add the possibility to show related articles in the details view of SOBI2 entries using meta keywords?

To elaborate:

Now the options are:

Show SOBI2 entries based on Article or
Show SOBI2 entries based on SOBI2 entry

I am looking for:

Show Articles based on SOBI2 entry

e.g. let say i have a SOBI2 entry with the meta keyword 'widget' and I have several articles with the meta keyword 'widget'.

When viewing the SOBI2 entry, the module should display the list of articles with the meta keyword 'widget'.

Do you think that is possible?

I looked at the possibilities. I think easier to prepare a new module based on the Joomla related items module. Could you tell me some details what settings you need. (category filter, thumbnail or sg)

The module should offer the possibility to limit the resulting article list by category and/or section (per Id maybe?) and be sortable (date of publication, alphabetical).

Thumbnails (resizable) would be a great extra. In addition display of Introtext comes to mind (on/off, limit by chars). I don't know what 'sg' could be.

I do not know how much work is involved (my php knowledge is very limited) but for my needs Thumbnails and Introtext are not necessary as long as the returned article headlines are linked to the articles.

Having said that I could imagine Thumbnails and Introtext would make your module much more complete and desirable.
